Leaders in Energy has joined Businesses for the Bay (B4B) as a B4B Networking Partner to connect with other organizations involved in energy, environmental, and sustainability issues. The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Businesses for the Bay membership association is a growing partnership of large and small businesses in the Chesapeake Bay watershed that are undertaking voluntary actions to improve the health of the Chesapeake Bay. Businesses for the Bay provides a network for its Members to share environmental strategies and success stories with each other and Networking Partners, as well as opportunities for Members to engage their employees in environmental efforts.
Corinne Stephens, the Alliance’s Business Partnerships Manager, stated, “Businesses for the Bay welcomes our newest B4B Networking Partner, Leaders in Energy. Through Businesses for the Bay, businesses are making a positive impact on Chesapeake Bay restoration, expanding their own sustainability programs, and being recognized for their environmental successes.”
Janine Finnell, Founder of Leaders in Energy and Clean Energy Ambassador, stated: “I was delighted to come across Corinne on LinkedIn when she posted about one of her Networking Partners and their work on greening the hospitality industry and restaurants. We look forward to collaborating with her and the other partners in this network. There are many important intersections involving energy, water, waste, etc. that we can all work on to improve the health of the Bay watershed. We also invite B4B members to learn more about Leaders in Energy to explore collaborative opportunities.”
